Young Identity
Young Identity is a project that Shirley runs at the Contact Theatre with some of the outstanding young poets from around Manchester. Young Identity is a writers group for aspiring poets, Inna Voice is the performance group which has come out of Young Identity.
Inna Voice have performed at the Green Room, the Contact Theatre and have twice visited the US to take part in Brave New Voices events in Chicago and Washington DC
In 2008, they showcased "Happy to Help" at the Contact Theatre.
Amazing Heights is a non profit arts promotion organisation born out of Shirley May's work with Young Identity, which exists to develope innovative, inclusive projects with young people around Manchester.
